Every download is a full seven-day trial, no account, no dongle. After that it goes quiet until you activate it, and activation comes with the Plugged In tier. In the plugin, SEND CODES emails your three activation codes and ACTIVATE takes one per machine.
Downloads always point at the newest build. Supporter builds always expire (the clock in the plugin's footer shows the date); a fresh build is always here and your activation carries over.
Every VOICE is one measured channel of the desk, named for what it does and sorted into matched pairs: WEIGHT, WARM, BIG, CLEAN, BRIGHT, TIDY, SOFT, LEAN, SMOOTH, and two OUTLIERs for when you want the desk at its strangest. Each has its own low-end reach, its own top, its own idea of how dirty it gets. The voice card shows the fingerprint and animates it while audio plays.
COLOUR is that channel's personality, from flat to four times what was measured. DRIVE is the channel's saturation, biased by how dirty it really got. WARMTH is the shared desk colour on top. Then the console EQ: LOW, MID and HIGH with switched frequencies, plus HPF and LPF.
A printed-scale fader and a VU per side, LINK to move both sides together, SWAP to cross them. Thirty-four factory presets, all volume matched, for drums, guitars, keys, vocals, bass and the bus. Community presets load from inside the plugin, and every dial takes a typed value.
Download your platform's build above. The macOS .dmg runs an installer that puts the AU, VST3 and the AAX for Pro Tools in the system plug-in folders; on Windows, run the installer or unzip the VST3 into your VST3 folder (Pro Tools on Windows: the separate AAX zip goes into Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins); on Linux, unzip into ~/.vst3. Rescan plugins in your DAW and load BR108 on any track: a stereo track gets LEFT and RIGHT strips, a mono track gets one. The macOS build is Developer ID signed and notarized, the Windows builds are Authenticode signed, and the AAX on both platforms is PACE signed.
One channel of a 1980s British 24-channel console, as a plugin. In June 2026 I ran identical pink noise through all 24 channels of the desk at unity and kept the twenty that came back alive. Each one is a VOICE in BR108, with its own measured colour, its own drive character and its own place on the desk. COLOUR, DRIVE and WARMTH scale how much of that you get, and the console EQ, filters, fader and VU sit on top.

Click the padlock in the plugin header. SEND CODES emails your three activation codes to the address you support with on Patreon or Ko-fi. Paste one into ACTIVATE. That machine stays unlocked while your support is active, with a fourteen-day grace period if it cannot reach the server.
Supporter builds always expire: each one plays until the end of the third month after it was built, and the clock in the footer shows the date. A fresh build is always waiting here, and your activation carries over. It keeps the plugin current for the people paying for it.

Yes, and it asks first. It counts anonymous usage (a random install id, plugin version, OS and DAW, never audio), checks the trial clock and the activation, and fetches community presets when you ask for them. The usage counts have a clearly labelled opt-out in the SYS panel.
